An Inconvenient Truth - but what do we do?

My good friend and business partner Richard Harris has set-up The BlueGlobe Foundation to create a global on-line community that can collaborate to answer the questions that this inconvenient truth generates.

By bringing together the different constituencies that are interested in Climate Change, BlueGlobe aims to engage, educate and enable the public around the little differences that can be made by each and everyone of us.  Getting a ground-swell of action on these “little things we can do” can only be reached by informing and empowering people to make changes.

The website for BlueGlobe currently demonstrates some rather fancy filtering technology that will eventually be used to facilitate online knowledge sharing.  At the moment the end-result is that there is a collection of Climate related news-items.  We are using this to demonstrate to potential funders that there is a hugely powerful technical know-how behind this project.

If you are in contact with investors and grant-giving bodies that have an interest in on-line community and climate change then please let me know at martin@blueglo.be we’d be very keen to talk to them... in the meantime add us to your RSS and keep yourself up to date....
